Ritus Coronalis

The dome was always decorated during the coronation ceremonies. On the main altar the sword, crown, scepter were placed for the king as well as silk scarf that was tied to the arm and blade bone of the king and a ribbon which was tied to the wrist. Decorated royal throne was standing in special place.
Before the ceremonies all the bishops were present, metropolitan and all his assistants’ dress were always in the color of the current liturgics season. Metropolitan was sitting besides the main altar; other bishops were seated behind him in a shape of crown. During the week before coronation ceremony king was fasting during three days in order to be prepared to receive the Sacrament.
When the coronation procession reached the Dome, future king was met by two bishops and led to the Metropolitan.
